My new blog. If you're hopping over from a link on my old blog, welcome and thanks for checking this out! I'm very inspired to have a new, clean, fresh look about my blog, and a new name that I can identify with. I hope you'll enjoy what you find here, please follow along. 2013 is shaping up to be a HUGE year for me [I'm getting married to my sweetheart, and we're expecting a baby pretty soon :)]. This is my place to document and share the experience, and all the ups and downs of living a simple life in the country.
As I start this blog, it is summer in Australia. A hot, dry and windy summer at that. Which is where the name Dusty Country Road comes from. Where I live, there are lots of them around.

I think this is a lovely new space. I too have been feeling like i have out grown my blog name. I have only had my blog for less than 2 years but i have grown so much in that time that i have been considering a name change too. Not sure yet what i will do as i have an etsy store with the same name and have been trying to use social media under the name too. im feeling like it would be a huge undertaking, any words of advice?
ReplyDeleteI think your blog name is lovely :). I think the most important think is to really love the space you blog in/love your etsy store etc. It's that thing, when you love what you do, you do it well and it shows. For me, I was really lacking in purpose and direction on my old blog, and it wasn't just the name, it was the whole look and feel of it. I just didn't love it, and I wasn't motivated to keep writing it. It's a big decision, I contemplated it for months before actually doing something about it. Listen to your heart :).
