From Monday. A boy and his cat, found playing together with mama's yarn. He loves this cat - granted, he pulls her tail and doesn't yet understand what 'pat her gently' means, but she keeps coming back anyway. I think she loves having someone to play with. We always said she was his cat.

I love the obvious bond between them. Cats choose their loves very carefully, he is a lucky boy. This photo reminds me of the Ryder-Waite tarot deck card Strength; the woman in that card is taming the lion with strength of will and the bond of love just like William and his cat.
ReplyDeleteShe is such a good cat for him. He loves the animals but is a bit rough with them at the moment so the others all give him a wide berth. Not this cat. She chose us at the RSPCA a couple of years ago and she is most definitely his cat.
