Insta-Winter

Lame Instagram post title? I agree. But it's a bit like a sport, coming up with really bad Instagram post headers. Although they're not all bad, over at Exploring Woods, Sarah came up with Insta-Graham Crackers. I don't even know what Graham Crackers are but I love it anyway [I'm assuming they're a biscuit of sorts..]. I do like a bit of Instagram. I'm not much of a social media person - I got off Facebook a long time ago, I rarely tweet and I'm a terribly inconsistent pinner. But Instagram works for me. They say a picture tells a thousand words, right? It's kind of fascinating, seeing the photos people take. I have a definite preference for the real deal though, none of this take a perfect image with a super flashy camera then load it into Instagram. Photo from the phone or not at all. But that's just me.

Light reading about chickens. I may yet become crazy chicken lady.
A cat falling out of a dog bed.
Biscuits before the oven.
Biscuits after the oven.
An old favourite.
A new stone, Zebra Jasper.
Shameless selfie. Desperately trying to hang on to a part of my life that is well and truly on the back burner right now.
Pumpkin anyone?
Study notes, on  Friday night, for an exam the next morning. I did great.

You know I've pondered life without a mobile phone. I know it can be done. We become so reliant on being so connected all the time, I'm not sure it's a good thing [for me anyway]. But then, no Instagram...  To be considered further.

Are you on Instagram? Find me here, I'd love to see what photos you're posting. That sounds rather stalker-ish but it isn't, honestly!

  1. I like Instagram. My phone is for me more camera and Computers then phone. People who call dont like this because my ring is always off. I grow up without phone but not without a camera :-).

    1. For me too :) I never answer it, I always have it on silent so I don't hear it ring. That's a good point though, I use the camera a lot.

  2. So I'm a bit behind and just reading this, but I'm loving it! Graham crackers are really thin, sweet, cookie/ cracker things...haha. They're sweet, and usually used to make smores (sandwich roasted marshmallows & chocolate in between the crackers~ a campfire classic :). yum!

I'm hoping to get chickens next spring! My winter project will be reading up on them and figuring out what in the world to do.
