"A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2014."

On our nature walk. We do this one morning a week. I carry him in the Manduca these days, he's too heavy for the Hugabub now. I like to give him a chance to sit and play in the dirt and rocks and sticks. He seems to enjoy it. I hope to cultivate an appreciation for nature within him, and more than anything, it's a beautiful way to get out of the house and breathe. When it's not too hot, that is.

I just love those little pointed toes too!
